Epiphany (Socrates')

Soul in your cave

ancient and gray

A ravenous fire

forever devours

the light of day

Casting your chained shadow

dancing a life that you see

Living for thee

Hiding your open window

Spark of a spark

faint yonder

dream in a dreamer's eyes

stirring like distant

and thundering skies

Storms that know

truth to show you

An open window

Windswept

in a field after the rain

Out here in the sunlight

you can smile again

No more chained shadow

dancing your life as you are

Laughing

Open your every window
