Novels

OnPractice

Rumor has it that the novel is dead. According to some critics (and writers) it has been dead—or seriously in the process of dying—for a century or so. I’m not so sure that most novelists agree, nor most readers.

To me, the novel is still very much alive, and I believe it to be the crowning achievement of Man’s creative efforts.

Stepping into a well written novel is like entering a well-constructed, vivid universe, where you find yourself caring more about these supposedly fictitious (well, they are, sort of) characters than you care about your friends and family. Odd that.

And you find yourself knowing more about the protagonist, or the villain, than you know about your own spouse or children; or about yourself, for that matter.

Co-Creation

In the end, a well-written novel is a co-creation between writer and reader: a merging or melding of two imaginations, which together they put on the spectacle called novel.

My Novels

So far, I have written five novels for publication, all available on my Amazon’s Kindle Store.

I wish you happy—and, I hope, rewarding—reading.
