Appendices

Here are a few very useful appendices/articles, what have you.

Barzun's Principles of Rhetoric, which pretty much nails it. Barzun's Reviser's Guide, outlining how to go about that. Gardner on Form, his views on story length. O'Connor on Form, which is her view on the story. Gerard on Outlining, which provides a wonderful guide. Le Guin, A Discussion of Story, her view on what makes the story breathe. There's a string of Additional Quotes, which are great but didn't quite fit in any of the Elements. To sum it up, The Condition of Art by Joseph Conrad, is a beautiful reflection on the craft.

And in closing, Definitions and a suggested Bibliography.
